Procedures

Unless specifically described elsewhere, the general procedure for each Q-Aspect IQC Scheme is as follows:

 

Step 1: The QC sample (single bottle) is despatched by first class post on the second monday of each month.

Step 2: The sample should be tested on receipt or alternatively refrigerated overnight and then tested next day.

Note: The sample must be tested before the expiry date presented on the sample label.

Step 3: In support of local audit and 'off-line' enquiry, the results are recorded on the sheet provided with the sample.

Step 4: Finally, the results are submitted 'on-line' within ten (10) days from the 'Date Issued'

 

On completion of the 'on-line' result entry process, the expected result values will be displayed on the web page. An interpretation of the results is presented together with any warnings including the need to retest.
